This is my niece's maiden attempt to go solo. I could have joined her but family matters and traditions got in the way. Sagada has always been in my bucket list; but no worries. Retired early, but still active. Very involved in celebrating life! I love traveling because I always come back with less cobwebs in my mind. It is as if I empty my mind of all clutter upon departure, and fill it with many happy memories upon arrival. I also like the idea that life is so focused on the present, and my senses are all playing to listen, feel , see, smell and taste everything novel or not so new. The fact that I only have to choose from a limited wardrobe, or use the same pair of shoes throughout my holiday , or work and survive on a single budget make life so much simpler. ... full info

Advise for first time solo journey..
Hi! I'm planning to go to Sagada this September, na inspire naman ako sa niece mo... My question is for her, is it really worth it kung mag sosolo ka? I mean, how did she get the courage to push through with it na sya lang magisa? Thanks po..

solo.......but not alone
She traveled solo but easily picked up friends right from the bus station in Quezon City on way to Banaue. There is always a group traveling to Banaue. Besides, she told me that one need only to go to the Tourism Registration Center and join a group to do the caves, falls, etc.
