Safely in Sabang, Mark completed his Padi course and did three wreck dives as well as a yankee plane shot down in the sea by the Japanese. Jo wasn't so keen to jump into the shark-infested waters, convinced as she is that she will leave this world in the jaws of a big one (attracted to her open wound).

Mindoro has an interesting 'romance' scene which numerous Brit, Aussie, German and American ex-pats take advantage of. It's fairly easy to pop into the late night bars and pick up a girlfriend/wife and unlike Stringfellows, you can keep her for a week or even forever.

We are now heading further south through the Philies, just missing the live crucifixons during Easter week where sinning Filippino Catholics repent by volunteering to be stripped, whipped and then crucified (with nails) for about five minutes. Nice.

PS We hope a minute's silence was observed by all for Rovers' gallant cup final loss to Doncaster last week.
PPS We are currently watching morning aerobics on Jesus Christ TV.

Take care
Crikey - what a good job Jo wasn't carrying a souvenir Samurai sword (with built-in vanity mirror)! Apparently, those things can really make the limbs fly!!
