On the Road Again-pt 2

Next stop after Vigan was Baguio City; 1500m above sea level and another cool micro climate (22deg C flalling to 14 overnight).

The drive up here reminded me of driving through the Dandenong Ranges, tree ferns and all .

At one stage the fog was so thick we couldn't see the side of the road, then suddenly clear as a bell.

Some of the views of Baguio City are like the poster shots of Portofino Italy - sans the sea.

The ones in the colourful dress are native dress are called Igorot - native Filipinos - no Spanish blood

What a travesty. . . . they have about 4 of these beautiful dogs up here that are kept sedated and then poked and prodded into poses for the tourists. Enough to make this grown man cry

My dad was born and grew up there! We have visited that place so many times! I hope you bought some longanisas from the market! Did you drive through Kennon Rd? I have !
