BALTORO - CONCORDIA K 2 BASE CAMP TREK:

Introduction:
This outstanding trek to K-2 combines the classic approach walk along the Baltoro Glacier to Concordia with time to ascend the Godwin Austin Glacier to the K-2 Base Camp. It is far and away the most popular trek in Pakistan, attracting large number of trekking groups as well as numerous climbing expeditions. After assembling our team of porters and crew we cross the snout of the Biafo Glacier before ascending the exposed trails above the swirling waters of the Bradlu River. This is wilderness trekking at its finest, with huge rock faces including Trango Towers providing a spectacular backdrop.

Reaching the conjunction of the Godwin Austin Glacier, which descends from K-2 and Baltoro Glacier called “CONCORDIA 4700m”, lying in the heart of the most heavily glaciated region out side the Polar area and densest concentration of peaks on earth. You will appreciate the sheer scale of Golden Throne, Gasherbrum IV, Broad Peak, Chogolisa, Mitre Peak and K-2 (8611 meters), the second highest mountain in the world, an unrivalled concentration of peaks that define the inner Karakorum.
From our base at Concordia, which is apex of this trek, one can undertake
