TOUR ALONG THE KARAKORUM HIGHWAY TO KASHGAR-CHINA Kashgar is one of the historical cities in China. There are several tribes or dynasties with various cultures and traditions. It is changing too rapidly now, having big avenues and tall buildings but still offers many interesting scenes and sights and its unique blend of old and new ways of life and traditions. The ancient “Silk Road” was lying buried in the history, mystery legends in some of the unbelievable terrible tales of past. It is possible to travel to legendary city of Kashgar-China via Karakoram Highway (KKH) which is constructed on the foot of old Silk Road. The Karakorum Highway connects the legendary Silk Road cities of China with the capital of the Pakistan- Islamabad via Khunjerab Pass 4733M through the beautiful Valley of Hunza-Nagar, Gilgit in the Northern Areas of Pakistan. The whole the region is a wonderful complex of various natural elements mixed together to form a wonderland.

Faces in Kashgar-China
There are various faces of different tribes with different culture and traditions in Kashgar-Chinais declared to be open the border on 1
st April. The zero point is located at the Khunjerab Pass 4733 M, which is 86 km from Sost. Tashkurgan is the first town of the Chinese side that is located right at the Silk Road at about elevation 3050 M from the sea level, here remains 9
th month winter and 3 months summer. This town is also becoming modern town, have big buildings and wide roads. Kashgar is around 280 km from Tashkurgan.

Day-02: Drive to Chilas or fly to Gilgit
Day-03: Continue to Karimabad-Hunza
Day-04: Drive to Lake and by boat to Gulmit
Day-05: Continue to Sost
Day-06: Drive to Tashkurgan via Khunjerab Pass
Day-07: Continue to Karakorl Lake and walk around
Day-08: Continue to Kashgar
Day-09: Full-day visit around
Day-10: Drive back to Tashkurgan
Day-11: Continue to Sost then to Karimabad
Day-12: Drive to Chilas via Gilgit or fly to Islamabad from Gilgit
Day-13: Islamabad
Day-14: Departure from Islamabad
