I was keen to look at food costs on the EBC so diarised prices as we went. Here is a small sample of costs of food/drinks- hot water cup/small pot/medium pot/large pot, black tea, porridge, toast, apple pancakes, momos, dhal bat, omelette chappatis, vege fried rice and power on the EBC in Feb/March 2013. Unfortunately I cant seem to put a table in the text section of this blog. For the moment I have added it as a JPEG in the photos section so if you want to actually see the details you will need to click on the photo to enlarge it to a point that it is readable. If anyone has any idea on insertion of a table please offer advice!

I also took some photos of menus that have a few more prices.

Having now done a few different treks in Nepal my observation is that the food/drinks on the EBC was noticeably more expensive than either the Annapurna Circuit, Mustang or Langtang treks.
