Day #8 - A vista of peaks (Namche)

Walking a little further uphill across a dry grassy area we emerge onto a plateau with the most incredible views. This was what out guide leader has promised us and he certainly delivered. In the distance could be seen Mount Everest (in the centre left with the cloud coming from its peak), Lhotse and Ana Dablam – three of the most famousHimalayapeaks – all in one magnificent vista.

We spent about an hour here taking photos after photos in awe of the incredible views.
