We cross the first of many steel suspension bridges on the trail, and each one seems to be longer and higher than the last.

Each bridge is natural bottleneck for trekkers, porters, donkey trains and Dzopkyo’s.

A lesson quickly learned is not to cross the bridge the same time as anything with 4 legs as the bridge sways dramatically.

Around every bend a new more impressive sight awaits us.

Brightly coloured teahouse lodges, prayer flags, painted mani stones and distant snow capped peaks.

We follow the path of the mighty Dudh Kosi river passing through pine forests, with a steep drop on the left hand side.
