Somewhere along the way, we realized that ideal trekking season was just beginning in Nepal, so we decided to stretch our legs and wander up to Everest. Very cool trip. Sounds a bit hectic. Are all these trekkers going to the base camp or further up?

Great pictures -great hike!
Hi Laura- again, a lot of great pictures! Lukla looks a lot more civilized than I was there in 1986. The runway was just grass and dirt at that time. I hiked up towards Everest and flew out of Lukla. I hope I can go back some time.
