Najvacsi peniaz to bralo 5rm. Nuz som si cca 5km odslapal popri hlavnej ceste. Samozrejme po chodniku. Konecne nachadzam obchodik s vodou. Okolie nic zaujimave. Nizke domy.

Ranajky ubohe, len toasty s dzemom a caj. Vodic ode mna pytal 6k, dal som mu 4k, i ked recepcny vravel, ze odvoz je zdarma. Nech sa s nima zadrhne. Pred vstupom postavalo kopa ludi, ktory blokovali vstup do haly. Sak jebnuty moslimi. No otvara. Security ... read more

Ono tu prakticky ani neni co hodnotit. Mal som tu len stopover na dve noci. Botanicka zahrada opat nesklamala. Sprcha tece furt nahovno a net prakticky ani nesiel. Nabuduce sa poobzeram po niecom inom. ... read more

Our honeymoon started with a long drive to Melbourne to catch our Air Asia flight from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur. We had a night stay planned in Kuala Lumpur as we both love KL and I wanted to show Todd ALOFT, my favourite hotel in KL. ALOFT is centrally located at the KL Sentral train station. You can get the express train from the airport direct to this station and it takes 25 minutes as opposed to an hour in a taxi. It is an expensive ride at 55RM per person (about the same as a taxi) but its quick and easy so my preferred option. Once we arrived in Melbourne we unloaded the car then headed to a local Italian restaurant which was a 2 min drive from our hotel. I had a Ceaser salad ... read more

In July 2017 we travelled to Kuala Lumpur for 6 nights with the kids – aged 10 and 7. Kuala Lumpur is a wonderful place for a family holiday. There is so much to do and you could easily spend a couple of weeks there. Stay : ALOFT hotel – we booked ALOFT as we stay here all the time without kids. The room felt a little squeezy with 4 of us but we were barely in the room other than to sleep so it was good. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the kids loved it. The kids also loved the rooftop pool and we recommend this place for families. On day 1 we arrived from Melbourne on a day flight with Air Asia. I had prebooked a family ticket with the KL Express train ... read more

Na ranajky pobrate smerom k stanici pasar seni (metro, mhd). Zapadam u inda v poulicnom stanku na parkovisku. To tu uz o mesiac asi nebude, bo tu rozmeravaju novu budovu. Davam roti placky a caj.

Smer prepazka airasia. Tu zadna sranda s personalom ako v japonsku. Korejky su ozaj dake divne. Na prepazke air asia baba zistuje cez mobil ci potrebujem viza do malajzie, pyta si vystupnu letenku. Tak jej ju ukazujem v appke air asia. ... read more

I always love catching up with my friend Steve, that's 8 years now we've been meeting in random places and this time it's at the airport in Kuala Lumpur. He's just arrived from the US and I'm just down from Langkawi on route to Scotland. So we catch transport into Chinatown and have a bit of an explore round. I booked us into the Traveler's rest guest house for the night and we went out for dinner which was fabulous fish at the local Chinese hawkers which was delicious followed by a wander round the markets and a beer or two at the Reggae Bar . We didn't get out of Chinatown but I enjoyed the night anyway. Next day we left for the airport again with Steve heading off to Cambodia and me heading to ... read more

A super-hot national park, a super-tall skyscraper, a super-big cave and some more things which really aren't super-anything We didn’t spend more than a few days in Malaysia and we only went to two places, Penang Island and Kuala Lumpur. When we planned this trip we never included Malaysia in our plans at all. Laos, Vietnam and Thailand were the three main destinations. We wanted to visit Cambodia as well but we knew all along that we wouldn’t have the time. The idea of going to George Town in Malaysia came up while we were on the road. It seemed like an interesting place to visit so we went there. Since we then were in Malaysia we threw in Kuala Lumpur as well. Ake has been to Malaysia before. That was a long time ago, back ... read more

Kuala Lumpur unabashedly embraces generic capitalism, and its pride seamlessly connects the sprawling network of shopping malls with clean, air-conditioned, covered walkways, well-planned parks, and excellent public transport. You can find every brand name store imaginable. Some seem to only be there as an advertisement, like the Salomon store that had maybe 20 items and no running shoes. Being a child of the 80s, there was something oddly reassuring about walking through a busy indoor mall. Peggy and I stayed at an Airbnb at Fraser Place, one of countless residential skyscrapers where one must factor in time waiting for the elevator to go to one of 25 characterless floors. I'm sure there are still plenty of alleyways left where you can experience the traditional culture, but it's possible to visit the city center and believe it ... read more
