Originally from Klang, I grew up with eating nice food... especially Bah Kut Teh. Traditionally Bah Kut Teh is pork meat that serve with herbal soup and rice. For muslim, one can order Chi Kut Teh which uses chicken meat. Bah Kut Teh also comes with dry Bah Kut Teh which has been popular ever since it has been release. There's an area which is call Taman Rasnah, just before the Klang toll, that is popular with Bah Kut Teh. Also there's a Bah Kut Teh shop behind the Hokkien Association which is one of the most famous shop where many tours will stop there to have their lunch. They even have their own website www.bahkutteh.com where u can browse through their menu and then people's comment on the shop. (it is in mandarin though). Klang people normally have Bah Kut Teh once a week and it is a popular gathering for families and friends to eat together.

Klang is also famous for its seafood. There's two places that served fresh seafood. One of them is Telok Gong. That area is seafood heaven for seafood lover as there are many restaurant that served seafood. This place is located deep inside Port Klang that requires own transport to go there as there are no public transport over there. There's a famous restaurant over there which is call Coconut Flower which is packed with people every night. The other place is at Pandamaran. Pandamaran is a suburb area where u can find a lot of traditional local food. Not only u can find fresh seafood there, u can find many hawker stalls too at night where they will served local dishes like mee or rice. U can either take away or stand there and eat. Some of the hawker stall provide tables and chairs to sit down and eat.

The other famous food in Klang is rojak and cendol. Cendol Klang, located at the heart of the city center is a popular place to try cendol. The owner started selling cendol back in early 1970 wit his mobile-store attached to his motorcycle. Then in early year 2000, he move the business to the shop the very same place he had been selling since 1970. Till now, his cendol is still famous all over Klang, Shah Alam and Subang Jaya. In his stall there's another owner who sells rojak. But it is not as famous as the one nearby there. It is located at Emporium Makan where there's a lot of traditional food are served there. Not only that place is famous for rojak, it is also famous for 'Lontong' and 'Mee Bandung'.

Those of you who love eating noodles also known as 'mee', there's 2 place that are famous for 'wan tan mee'. One is located at the heart of Klang center where it is sold at a hawker stall. During lunch time, there will be a lot of customer till u have to wait just to sit down. And if u r unlucky, by the time u got a place to sit the mee has been sold out. Normally by lunch time around 1pm they will sell finish. So go early to eat it. Another place is at Kampung Java. This place is a coffee shop where it is popular wit family having breakfast and lunch there. Normally the coffee shop closes around 2pm, sometimes earlier depending how good is their business.

ps. I'll try to upload pictures of the food as soon as I can 😊
