I was left to watch the bungalow while everybody else went out for breakfast then spent the morning reading and walking along the beach. After a minimal lunch, Mom, Uncle Tay, Cze Loon, Henry, Robin, and Sunny came. Spent the afternoon down on the beach (in the shade for me) talking, etc. After dinner, had a good time singing (the Malaysian version of Peter, Paul, and Mary: Steve, Robin, and Ardice!) Nobody here pays attention to my poor voice. Then badminton came on the telly -- and we all ran to watch. Robin wanted to talk to me. He's just converted from not-so-devout Buddhist to very Christian, and wanted to tell me all the joys. I didn't mind listening, he so wanted to tell somebody and no one else here will pay any attention to him. But I began to become annoyed when he tried to convert me. No matter how many times I told him, or how many different ways I tried, or how many evasive answers I gave, he still kept on me. Badminton was over by then, so I made an excuse and retired.
