Langkawi...May holidays with Leslie and Tiffany...

We haven't seen much of travelling in April, not much of extreme travel or sports...but April was full of extreme
happiness...and if you need translation, this means a lot of cuddles and not much sleeping...we all enjoy the way
we can, the way we do!

So May holidays in China...a luxury for most...a thing of the past also...but not at school, so here we are back on the
road. Let me put just on thing straight...full happiness could only have been reach with Ma'ri with us...but guess
we'll need some time to make sure our timings match...and then...be ready for beautiful entries...I can't wait...even
if I know it will take more than few weeks!

So here we are in Malaysia with Leslie and Tiffany. I've stopped to count how many visits I did to Malaysia, the
first one was back in January 1996....on another budget!

This time, we offered ourself the grand tour of Langkawi and grand tour it was, starting with the Westin, than up
to the Datai and the Four Seasons, with a small stop at the Sheraton. I didn't know what to expect of Langkawi.
After touring the island, I must admit it's very quiet, not much outside the resorts life....but great vegetation.
Only one great beach, the one of the Datai (but don't forget I'm a spoiled kid who like to put the level high!).

Datai and Four Seasons, that's pure spoiling...but who said we can't enjoy. So these holidays were all about...
beaches, shell huntings....crabs chasing, pillow fighting...ice creams...yes simple pleasure, in not simple
surroundings...with even the odd champagne...and numerous gorgeous swimming pools.

So best for the number of pools, the Westin, with a great view also...the kids loved it. Datai, what a place! Really
amazing service, great golf course in the jungle...and a wonderful upgrade to a great villa. Best for the beach,
the service....very Aman style...and the Four Seasons, the easier way to qualify it is "over the top"...from magnificent
rooms, great swimming pool...top lobby, amazing food and bars....but less than average beach...so yes we are spoiled
and yes it's fun! Simple rule...enjoy, don't pretend!

And the great news, Monday is back to Shanghai...back to Ma'ri...but guess what...I did sleep a lot the last few days...
and yes, also back to serious work!

Enjoy, because we do...and wait for the next entry...few days to come...but world class again...the firework is
only starting...again...smile!
