We had just enough time to check this place out. It was in Ventiene, just near the Laos/Thailand border.
It is a park (not a temple or wat) built to symbolize the unification of Buddhism and Hinduism. There are statues of buddha, ganesh (hindu), that monkey man (hindu) and many other people and creatures from both religions.
All these historical religious sites i have visted over the past 2 months have really sparked an interest in religious study for me. Maybe i will take a course or 2 when i get back.
