The plot next two the two I thought were ours had a takanoha mon, but the right feather crossed the left, where ours has the left crossing the right. (This picture is out of chronological sequence. I saved the oranges until the very end in case I found that I was wrong. I couldn't just take the flowers out of these ones once I put them in, so the oranges were my safety net.)

This one was near the temple, too. I thought the other one more closely resembled John Wada's description. But our mon was here, too.

The hawks can be seen in the sky next to the branch protruding in from the upper left. I later found this is an old shrine that is popular for people who wish to have daughters. There is an annual festival here.
