On our way out for the day we walked through yoyogi park to look at the fountains and the bird sanctuary (although you couldn't really see many birds). It was very quiet and peacefull apart from a few people exercising. First we headed out to Shinjuku shopping area. We started out at kavukicho, which is an entertainment area with arcades, theatres, restaurants and what appear, at night, to be very dodgy strip clubs. We then headed to electric street, this is a street full of quite cool electric stores (although we focused on yodabashi camera, which had 9 floors-although 2 of them were not very good).
