I dont know where to start- the clouds, the sunrise, the height, the pain, the cold, the wind or the stick, but I do want to say- I CLIMBED MT FUJI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I had some dreams there were clouds in my coffee.

Its another tequila sunrise...

We wish, wouldve warmed us up quite nicely!

Beautiful dawn, lights up the shore for me. There is nothing else in the world, I'd rather wake up and see

A little ray of sunshine, has come into the world

Go on Dad, sing!

Its been a long and winding journey

but it was worth it for this.

And then a hero comes along, with the strength to carry on

The guy in yellow picked up the other one's backpack and carried it for him up the mountain. There were a few people like this making sure everyone was doing the right thing. I hate to think how many times they've been up and down! Fools!

You knew I'd get a Grease one in somehow!! Look at my gloves- On top of Mt Fuji and the ladder! Go the Crows!!!

I still call Australia home...

Nope Hide doesnt- but he'd like to!!!

The end got further and further away, no matter how much we kept walking!

What a coincidence!
Wow, great blog and photos. My boyfriend and I were climbing Fuji the same weekend as you were, and I think that we were the 'loud Americans' that gave you an early wake up call. Apologies. You described that mountain hut experience really well. Just browsed your previous blog and wish you the best for teaching in Japan.
