Transit Cafe

After the morning service at church today, James and I went to one of our favorite restaurants on Okinawa...Transit Cafe. James took me to it several months ago and it has become a restaurant we like to go to on a monthly basis. He is really good at picking new places to go to so I know I'm always in for a treat!

This restaurant is a real hole in the wall...it's located along the seawall on the second floor...but it's always busy whenever we go. There are a few tables inside and 3 tables outside (they can be hard to get sometimes). The lunch menu is pretty limited (seafood curry, grilled chicken and salad, beef tenderloin, and a daily pasta special) but all the dishes are incredible fresh and light. I have never felt like I have overeaten whenever we go here. There is a wide selection of appetizers and fruit drinks available. We have enjoyed their mango milk lassie, banana chocolate smoothie, sweatpea juice mix, and berry smoothie.

If you're ever in the area, make sure to check out Transit Cafe. Bon appetite!
