After a long hiatus from hosting due to the pandemic of the past several years, we are back on the high seas again and loving it. A lot of water has passed under the bridge in those intervening years. Zoom calls became a way of life for keeping in touch with friends and relatives. It was the longest stretch of time since we have been married that we have not traveled somewhere in the world. During the quarantine we got to know our new home in Florida and were grateful for the comforts it offered like a swimming pool, hot tub, ping pong table and a lovely lanai overlooking our lake and 160 acre nature preserve. Went to yokahama by train and subway the other day. I like traveling like that. Omg when we got to the yokahama station i could not believe how many people there were. it was like being in the middle of a bee hive or an ant hill. Amazing. We went up in another tower. There are twenty towers in Japan. I've been to three. We went to china town and had chinese food. I t tasted just like chinese at home . ohh well, the district was fun to walk through.... read more

The trip was awesome, the flight was great, I have been here for two days. Japan time is 12 hours ahead of you guys, or 13 hours, whatever it is. So figure that out. I've been out in town a couple times, I've had some real ramen noodles, and I'm gonna eat some chicken feet!!! Stand by gretch i'm taking pics of all the food i eat. we went to the thrift store yesterday. those of you who know me know that was heaven for me. ill be going back several times.
