My roomate

There are about 17 girls in the female dormitary,
this is a picture of my room, I share with Chinki from
Peking , China, we have bunk beds and we have our
own kitchen with microawave and minimum cooking facilities.
No oven so I cant bake any meat pies!
But plenty of opportunity for instant noodles and omelettes,
when I have time I will definetly make some bramboracky, potato pancakes!
I heard its possible to purchase Czech Pilsen here? Havent found it yet,
they sell ASAHI, Japanese beer of course, the guys here, 4 Americans
and 1 Aussie, tell me its quite weak, but I wouldnt know not being a
beer drinker. I did try some Japanese whiskey with a couple of French students,
SUNTORY Japanese whiskey, 40%, not too bad. But I do miss Czech Tuzemak.
hehehehe
We have a laundry and dryer and great showers, the water pressure is amazing,
yes, its as good as the Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne, awesome pressure and the
hot water never seems to run out. We have a computer room and TV lounge too.
The cafeteria is not the greatest, they ( lovely Japanese ladies)
serve us Breakfast and Dinners

a typical breakie is hot rice,
a small portion of scrambled eggs and ham. Or toast with butter
and marmalade, the vegemite is coming in handy I tell ya, I much
prefer to eat that everyday, good stuff! My reserves are quickly
running out though, whoever is coming over this way, please bring
some, you can get it here, but I would have to pay an arm and a leg for it, so please let me know if you are coming over from Australia...
anyone... Dinner is quite often fried meat, pork or chicken with rice
and miso soup and/or noodles or fried fish. Not the healthiest meal
day after day, but it fills the gut when you have no time to cook for
yourself or have no cash.
I think I lost about 4 kilos here, I fit in very well though, everyone
here seems to be dieting, the girls here are always checking their
weight and the boys too! I checked mine now as Im loosing too much
and the girls check theirs because they are putting on. They eat the rice, miso soup and fried meat everyday. Where are the salads, fresh fruit, vegies

Ahhhh, another month, Ill put it all back on, the transition is slowly happening, no worries mate.

the internet speed is really slow, but good enough for emergency emails. We need Drahos!(z Pocatky) hehehe
T.V lounge
The same room as the PC room, exactly opposite. The Tv is great, everyday we can listen to Japanese! I use it alot.
French students
Cyril and Gwen from France are here for 3mths only, they are good fun to chat with and drink with.
