Krakatau-6Krakatau is a cinder cone that has formed inside a a much larger caldera rimmed by three islands. The volcano forming the original caldera erupted in 1883 and collapsed, forming the islands around Krakatau today. These processes stem from the same underlying tectonic movement and are thought to have cyclically occured several times.
Krakatau-8Blake studies physics and focuses in theoretical and computational work. He went to Columbia and I live about a block away from where he used to live.
