Day 2
Today is Sat. Oct. 30th. The reason I am relaying this bit of surprising information is because it is surprising to me and I just figured it out. By the way, in the US it is Friday Oct. 29th. I find it is important to center yourself, not metaphysically but where you are in terms of date and time.
Made, Wyman, and Darsana (our guides) took their newfound friends to Pemaksan Barong Tegaltamu to see a classic Balinese dance that is the perfect time capsule incorporating the spirituality, culture, humor and history of these beautiful and gentle people. then boiled to remove all excess wax. Here are some of Paul’s pictures.
We than had lunch in an open 2nd floor restaurant overlooking a valley of rice fields. On the way back to the hotel we stopped to see jewelry being made, exchange money and buy a sim chip and phone time.
Paul, who had flown 30 some hours and slept poorly crashed, to be resurrected a few hours later for supper. In the mean time we had a coordinating meeting which surprisingly produced some ground rules for our stay in Bali.
