BALI 15.2.2013 - 20.3.2013

Arrived in Bali late Friday night, first time with Jetstar, wasn't too bad! Got business class for $1000, all good which we were all very surpised about, Simon and Lee managed to get two seats behind us so all worked well. Raining a bit here each night but days have been lovely and hot. Simon and Gloria fronted up to the dentist Saturday morning 10.00.a.m. , Simon one root canal and crown and one filling $430, Gloria 6 root canals and crowns and teeth whitening, have temporaries in and go back later in the week to have all fitted. Lee and Simon great company and have been out for some lovely dinners already, new restaurant called Gastroteque, absolutely sensational, amazing!!! also to a couple of old favourites Dahana and to Mamasan tonight. Have one of our staff getting married on Saturday so will go up to his wedding which is up on the east coast at Karangasem, looking forward to that, have been to a christian wedding here but not a balinese wedding. His wife to be in pregnant, that is the way it normally goes!! Lee and Simon off to see Tre today, the magic massage man, for some pain etc!!

Hi Jet setters, Boy you two get around. Life of a retiree....Read the blog re the New Zealand Cruise, glad you had a good time. The Walsh Clan did a Pacific Cruise in November....We had a ball on the Carnival Spirit....Walshy is working away M - F in Warrnambool mainly. Home on the weekends. Hopefully we can catch up for a drink before you depart on your next trip. Enjoy have fun and say hi to Simon and Lee for us. Cheers

first night home
missing you this morning, deciding where to go to breakfast....guess it is going to be the cupboard for some cereal.... Kids are very excited to see us home, but got a little pissed when we left them behind at bed time. Simon doesn't remember anything after going to bed, I woke maybe 6 or 7 times and decided all Mrs Tre did for me was inflict pain, and then when I thought about it, I realised that while I woke often, I didnt lie awake for hours...watch this space. Back to work today for me....sad face enjoy the wedding... xxx
