Our favorite beach in Padang Bai / Bali.

Hey fellas,

long time no write. After coming back from Ubud we went to Padangbai again, since this is the only point on Bali, where ferries leave to the Gili Islands. Before we went there, we had some amusing days again in our beloved Padang Bai. Longing for some action we rented 3 motorbikes to cruise around. First alone and the next day with our new lovely friends Tankas and Agus we visited Candidasa, Amlapura and a beautiful water palace called Tirtagangga. We had a lot of fun, although we sometimes got slightly scared on our motorbikes. Arie and me figured that turning left is way easier than right. Of course Kimi fell after riding the bike just for 5 mins, which made me pay my budget for the next 3 days. Damn. Rip off. Anyway - it was worth it.
The next day Arie and me were already heading to Gili Trawangan by Slow Ferry, which was quite of a mission. After boiling in the sun for 4 hours, we got a slightly strange driver that took us from one harbour to the next on Lombok. We stopped several times - whyever - and finally reached Bangsal, a little

harbour from where public boats take you to the Gili Islands. After we already survived a mysterious traffic jam on the the car trip to Bangsal we thought we can leave Lombok quickly and finally wash off our sweat in the ocean. Wrong thought. The boat was supposed to head off in half an hour. Well, that didn't happen. 2.5 long hours we had to wait in this boring place, while different people who apparently work there told us different reasons why we can't leave. I got a bit annoyed after some time, so we decided it's BINTANG TIME. Beer will make all of this easier.
Meanwhile Hannah stayed back in Padang Bai for one more day because of several reasons.
The next day she arrived as well and we had some nice days on Gili T. Hanging out at the beach alot made us look like lobsters, but the crystal clear cool water eased our pain 😊 We watched the most amazing sunset in the eve and enjoyed the accompanying club music. After that Hannah and Arie had a very funny night together making some colourful experiences, while I was hugging my pillow. The local booze killed my stomach a bit, so I was kinda knocked out the day after as well. The biketrip the two made around the island I couldn't join unfortunately. Sunday the 6th 2 chickens decided to go back to Padang Bai one day earlier than planned, while Arie still stayed on Gili T. Hannah and me had 2 good reasons. 😊 We checked in in a lovely homestay named "Serangan", where our friend Tankas already booked 2 rooms for us. Quite a surprise 😊 Since then, we spend lovely, peacefull and happy days here. We didn't want to leave, so we changed our flight to Malaysia. Arie went on a little trip to Lovina, Sanur and Nusa Lembongan, while Hannah and me are 2 lovebirds in the sky. We study our Indonesian vocabulary every day, and I must say: We're pretty good already. Saya suka belajar bahasia Indonesia.

So far the news. I hope all is good at home and that you don't miss us too badly. ;0)
Selamat jalan.
Saya rindu anda banyak.
