hi all

we made in 1 piece (just!) flight was long with lots of food. got straight here and went out on the raz seen as it was my bday. digs are basic but we are hardcore backpackers now, we dont need air con or a sink or a door that is bigger then 4 foot (funny will put pics on soon)

found a cool bar with live music and buckets! my life is complete ( for those who have never been to asia a bucket is litterelly a bucket full of booze, ice and some really good redbull) partied the night away in a club then passed out.

had a walk around today, we are 5 mins walk from the main tourist bit which is mainly shops and restaurents-we are getting very used to saying NO THANK YOU- lots of nationalities here met a brit and irish girl last night who we got drunk with and they had to be up at 5am to goto gilly islands!

not much more to report apart from bottle of beer 70pence plate of veg rice 50pence. local booze called Rak very strong. take care all x will do some proper tourist stuff soon which doesnt involve getting drunk so you have got something interesting to read.

hi nick,leanne wanted to speak to u(sorry rub it in! lol) on xmas day but never got the chance did u seethe tigers maul the MIGHTY reds at home kidder what a joy to see bail n ron shouting for hull, but showed their true colours by buying gerrard scarves after the game outside the ground! lol anyway enjoy yourselves both of you take care x

Alright guys, Happy New Year and all that jazz. Sounds like you have been having fun, and Lea, there is no need to rub it in at the end of your message you bugger : ) Mexico was nice and relaxing, and NYE party at ours was a right laugh, although someone had heels on and now i have massive holes in my floor, domestic bliss i think it's called. Bec and Matt have gone back to Aussie this week, Adie said where going for xmas so you will have to fill me in where to go my well traveled friends! The flights sounded a nightmare for you, bet your picking up some right miles already! Better then here though. I'm off to Nottingham for 3 months with work, that is about as far as i will travel this year til xmas ha ha! Its not perm, just secondment so i'm sure i wont have gone far when you come back.
