While work at Seva Mandir was generally 6 days a week, we found time to explore in Udaipur and surrounding areas. Often we traveled with other interns, making a multicultural interesting bunch of people to travel with.

After I have finished 1 month work, Elise and I took 5 days to travel north and west of Udaipur, still within Rajasthan.

Half a dozen fruit and vegetable stalls set up each day about 4pm in front of our apartment building. The freshest stock!

We did yoga about once a week at a room in the old city. Prakesh was incredible flexible - and of indeterminate age.

The second of the major lakes of Udaipur, and about 1km from Seva Mandir. A nice place for a walk, and a cold coffee at sunset.
