Hi family, Ben here! I wanted to put a quick post up before breakfast. I am printing off all of your comments so we can read them around the breakfast table. Thank you so much for all of the encouragement! All the team members are doing well and I would say thriving even. Ask any of the past mission team members and they will tell you that heat, bugs, stomach pains, and travel woes cannot damper the love we get from the brothers and sisters here. Maybe that could be a special challenge from me to you, find a past mission team member and ask them to tell you a story. It doesn't have to be super inspiring, just anything. Those that have come before still have a brain full of experiences that I doubt have been tapped. The work done in the mission field is maybe 75% of the job, the rest is the impact they can have back in America. Unless no one wants to hear it!
Some business: We met Rocky in Chennai and he's awesome. We gave him the DVD and he was encouraged. Hoping to upload some pictures after breakfast on Mitch's laptop. We'll be here till Friday and then take the train to Madurai for a special conference with a bunch of the smaller, newer churches. Then it's off to Trivandrum, Kottayam, Cochin, and finally back to Chennai just in time to fly out. I know it will go by quickly but we certainly miss everyone back home.
We'll post more after breakfast!
Love you all, I miss my family,
Ben

Hi detroit! it's deb. So we are in coimbator right now and it's 7am-ish. Ben and I are going into the restaurant to get some coffee and yummy food. I've been able to get my paws on black coffee some of the time so I am extremely happy!! The hotel we are staying in right now is very westernized. It is super nice and I almost feel bad getting such great treatment and service. Any how...the brothers and sisters are very encouraging and its been great having salty conversations with them. When I was in PNG I found it hard to communicate with a lot of the disciples there, so it is refreshing to actually be able to share and talk with the Indian disciples. Building relationships has been the most fun!! wow!! they are fired up and great with hospitality and sacrifice. We are all learning alot here but I know that the true test happens when we get home and get to implement and practice the things we've learned. I miss all of you a lot!! thanks for keeping in touch and caring about your family. Chris--Hi! I miss you and wish u were here. We had a leaders meeting last night and think u would have enjoyed the message. I hope all the jobs you've been doing are going great and I really hope u are feeling better. luv u much! till next time...

Thanks for the reminder
Ben, Thanks for the appeal to share our mission experiences! I think about India probably every day, but fail to share how God changed my heart when I visited India in 2005. The examples of the Indian brothers and sisters impacted my soul! Please tell them how amazing they are! Christy
