Incredible India 2010

Well here goes with my attempt at a blog and the tales and woes of India!

So we started off in Mumbai. We flew in here and took the train to the
centre. When we got to the station and looked down we thought maybe
this wasn't the best idea, people all hanging out the doors etc But
when we got to the platform we realized they hang out the door wether
the train is full or not! So.we got on and it was fine.

Mumbai was a great city, always a million things happening and so many
ppl everywhere. On a Sunday night people are cooking street food,
getting shaves and haircuts, buying and selling veg, live chicken,
praying and everything else you can think of!

It rained quite alot here though, some days non stop! But had a few
nice mornings and we made the most of them and visited the Gateway to
India, the Tah Mahal hotel which was fab, the university, high court,
we went to a Bollywood film which was surprisingly good! But we did
meet 3 canadians who were asked to be in a Bollywood as extras and
accepted so we were a little bit disappointed we didn't have that star
quality!

From here we went to Jodhpur, which is also known as the blue city, and it actually
is blue. This was just a big city, even dirtier than most! But there was a lovely fort in
the middle so we spent the day there and did an audio tour there. It was really nice.
Basically got in and out of here as quick as possible.
