Amritsar This weekend was our trip to Amritsar, a quick five hours from Patiala as compared to our last jaunt to Jaipur. Amritsar is a small city in northern India, famous for two things: the border crossing with Pakistan and the golden temple. As we stayed for only a single night in Amritsar, we did not see too much of the city itself. Instead we focused on the important attractions, the border crossing, the golden temple and Domino's Pizza. Okay, we do have a Domino's in Patiala, but it's always fun to eat there. The Border We started off our travels at around 10:30am on Saturday and made it to Amritsar, around 5:30pm.
