day 1 delhi

hi jamie here,

The flights were great; we were very happy with our jet airway flight as their were lots of films to watch although my monitor was broken so read and slept most of the journey. We were also given about a hundred meals.

Most of the day was quite disorientating as we were so tired and Delhi moves at a breakneck speed; we'll also have to get used to all the hawkers and the traffic!
Didn't have a longtime walking around before dinner and an early nights sleep, but we were able to walk down the Raj Path where the military were practicing for their Republic Day Parade, got some good pictures of Camel Cavalry silhouetting the top of the steps to the government buildings and the Presidential palace.

As we speak Laura is booking our tickets to Jaipur as we'll be back in Delhi to leave India later.
