From the 12th to the 15th I was at the Bird's Lagoon Resort near Thattekad which is not listed in the available locations.

Anyway, it was a really nice place with great service, excellent food and a perfect location. I didn't see all that many birds because it is not the season but I did have a really nice rest here in this peaceful place.

Off to Bangkok on 5 August and then up to Laos - my first time ever in Asia. That was in 2006, in 2007 I did some travel in France and Spain which I didn't bother to blog but in August 2008 I'm going to India and will be blogging from there. ... full info
