Varkala day 3

Today we woke and went to our usual breakfast spot, serving decent coffee for Dale and a great breakfast for Mark and I. The sun was shining in the morning and we were not brave enough to venture out, still feeling distinctly burnt from the other day! The clouds soon rolled in though allowing Mark and Dale to head to the beach and Ollie to finish off a book. The rest of the afternoon was spent indoors watching the remarkable rains as it pounded the cliffs! The storm knocked out the power so much of the evening was spent in darkness but we found a restaurant and ate another fantastic meal and then spent the rest of the evening playing cards with one of the waiters who claimed to know how to play the game we were playing! Many cocktails later we retired for bed!
