I had just two weeks left in India and was torn between whether to stay north and see more of the forts and palaces of Rajasthan or head south - I'd met heaps of people who'd raved about the south and how different it was and I was keen to see it for myself. good read
brings me back to my own weeks in Karnataka though Hambi was rarely touched by foreign visitors then having to stay in rock bottom accomodation by nesecity rather then by choise. Hans/ heraclio on this ide.

love your pics!! we stayed in Hampi 12 years ago, i healed from double inner ear infections, and had an incredible massage by Mena, am returning with our 2 girls (10 &8) and my hubbies parents next month!! it's the journey that matters for each of us, and what a great place to look around at another culture day by day.
