Alex and I decided to see some more of Bangalore and came up with the following plan for the day:

- Lalbagh (the Botanical Garden)
- Bull Temple
- Tipu's Palace
- Vidhana Soudha

Even before we could put this into action we needed a little help from my favorite tuc-tuc driver around: Govinde. In order to find him, I told Alex we should go to his usual stop and start from there. I didn't have the brains to get his number before.

So as we reached to his usual stop, I didn't see his car. After a few seconds browsing at the faces nearby, I see him waving at me with big smile. Once we showed him the plan, off we went!

On the way we saw this '67 car which was actually the police's car. Tatas are everywhere, Mazdas and Suzukis are the most popular makes here. I've seen some Volks here and there. Anyway, here we are again in our favourite Autorickshaw: Govinde's.

As soon as we got to the Lalbagh - Bangalore's Botanical Garden, I was impressed by all the green around. Maybe I could say I was a bit disappointed this isn't the best season when it comes to flowers... the garden of roses had none! Pawan I understand why you have fond memories of your childhood here. Lovely place for a sunny spring day! 😊 The glass house is where events take place at the flowers season.

Off to the Bull Temple we were, and couple of other temples are there near each other. Nandhi is a one-monolith sculpture, and believers say it has grown over the years. There is an exact replica in the Mysore Bull Temple. Alex and I got a Bindhi on our way out, in addition to a nice string of flowers.

The Tippu Sultan's Palace does not allow visitors to carry their cameras, so we were a bit disappointed. We just stood in front of the main gate and got some pics. In Mysore we'll see lot more of Tippu Sultan's. The same went on for the Vidhana Soudha (where public access is restricted) and the Bangalore Palace. Then, it was time for shopping! 😊

They were curious and asked where we were from. They asked for something from Brazil to show in school, but we didn't have anything on us. :(
