Trek Lamayuru-Darcha DAY 1

Before I start the blog of the day some important information:

1) I AM back in Brussels, this blog is about the trip I did with Nadja 60 days ago!

So now the trek:

We're finally starting our trek, many info in the video file.

But also:

We're starting from Lamayuru at 3500m and are going to Darcha over Padum. The trek is also commonly known as "Across Zanskar". We are going to cross the old kingdom of Zanskar to end up in Himachal Pradesh. We're never going to be at altitudes below 3000 m and we'll have several high passes, the highest will be 5100m!

We're planning to trek for about 4 weeks, we're not in a hurry, we'll see how this will go. For now the weather is quite cloudy and rainy.
