Conference and KFC

Had a big day at the conference yesterday and now have information overload. I had to chair a session also, which I've never done before, went ok though. I present my paper today and I'm going to show a video in the presentation to mix it up a bit. So after I had finished work at 6pm we went to a shopping centre to see if we could get some dinner and just to have a look. The shopping centre information said it was open until 11pm. Technically it was but only after half a dozen stores. In three km's of shops there was one ATM and it was out of order! So Richie is going to have to go to the bank today. We found some dinner in the form of KFC. We decided that it looked the cleanest and any germs would have been killed in the process of cooking. Didn't eat any burgers though because of the lettuce on them. Their chips are like fries not biggish chips like we have in Australia.

We also heard the Indian version of the Offspring song ' pretty fly for a white guy'. Definately a bit different...

The power has only gone out once in the last day and that was about 5 minutes ago. We've also taken some photos of traffic and loaded them up, so you get an idea of what we are talking about. Other than that nothing much else to report and back to work I go...

I can't believe Richie managed to seek out KFC!!!!!!!! Ha! Holmes loved the fact that there is an Indian version of Pretty Fly for a White Guy... PS. Happy anniversary.... :)
