GOA:
This old Portuguese enclave used to be 15 years ago the place to be for a great party nowadays when you arrived low season (as we did), there is no more.
23/08 to 28/08 /12: Palolem
We arrived low-season therefore we found closed guesthouse. They will start again in late October. Nevertheless we enjoyed a good 2 days of sun and exploring followed by 3 days of Monsoon. The streets transformed themselves in rivers ! It was great to feel the intensity of the monsoon rains...! We met some lovely people in Palolem (from UK & France & we hope to see the French couple (Charlie & Fanny) in Paris in May....)
There is two nice beaches further along. You do get some hawkers trying to sell jelleweries (self-made!?) but to be honest nothing original which cannot be found in any tourist market in Europe.
Goa was great but 5 days was enough...
