HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
Well, we dont know where to begin! We left Tamil Nadu 2 weeks ago leaving Sarah and Mark behind, and arrived in Goa after an interesting journey- we had to share a sleeper bed on the train which are very small :-( and there were cockroaches!!! ewww so that was a fun experience but we did see loads of good countryside as it was all green and full of palm trees. Journey was worth it though when we arrived in Goa at Palolem Beach, we were excited to hit the cocktails and just sunbathe alll day! We had a crazy different new year with a rave on the beach, which was funny but alot of indian men towards the end. We stayed ata place called Big Fish which is really nice and chilled out in a nice beach hut right on the sea. However we hada little ratty friend that woke us up trying to share our bed!! Not nice so we moved rooms. Apart from that its been really good, we didnt do much but swim and eat good, expensive food. When we say expensive we mean like a pound a meal! But were v stingy now after being in the rest of India!!
This weekend weve been on Agonda Beach for a change of scenery- very beautiful but very quiet so tomorrow were going back to Palolem! Then up to the north next week to go to some markets before we head to Thailand!! Cant believe weve nearly been in India 2 and a half months. Its a really strange feeling to think we'll be leaving but were ready for Thailand now.
We've had some amazing experiences and seen some amazing things- good and bad.
Its such a crazy country we cant explain it, theres so many contrasts and Goa doesnt even feel like a part of it. We preferred the real India and maybe well come back one day. Definately neither of us thought we'd be saying that when we first arrived!!

Singapore and beyond!
Cant believe in five weeks time i'll be just about on that plane! !!!!!! Will bring lots of baggage space for lots of wonderful things. Dogs say a special hello. Enjoy the rest of India and go on taking photos. Love from us all xxxxxxxxxx
