Yesterday started with a bang, literally, as claps of thunder and flashes of lighting were bouncing around the islands. Celine was out swimming in the bay at 7am with huge drops falling, very impressive, comfortable as well when the water is that warm!
This was our first foray into the big city as we caught the ferry to central (hk island) and connected on the ferry Hong Kong's 3rd biggest island Lamma. Central was bustling, tall skyscrapers by the waterside.
The sun dried up the clouds on our arrival to Lamma and we were soon hitting the 30 degrees mark. We went on a round trip around the south part of the island, with steep climbs and gorgeous vistas over the bay. The downside is the huge quantity of plastic washed up on the shore. We have to sort out our dependency on plastic!
The boys went out for a night swim and a beer, a unique experience under the lights, in 29 degrees, watching youngsters chasing crabs.
