Rainy afternoon in Hong Kong

Today we visited the Central Mid Level Escalators and Walking System. It was built in 1993 and is the longest outdoor covered escalator system in the world. The entire systems covers 800 metres or 2600 feet in distance. We took the escalators up and then walked back down. From 6 am till 10 am it runs downhill and then from 10:30 am till late at night it runs uphill. We then wandered along Hollywood Street to our hotel.
In the afternoon we did a little shopping before the rain started. For dinner we had one of our first Western meals of the trip. After dinner we got our suitcases organized as we fly back to Shanghai tomorrow. We have a taxi coming for us at 4 am!
