This weekend was absolutely amazing! I don't even know where to start...
First of all..
On Saturday, we were invited by Jim Thomson (founder and CEO of Crown Worldwide Group) to attend a luncheon at his private wine club/wine cellar. It was such an amazing experience. We got all dressed up and arrived at the wine cellar around noon. Upon arrival we were served delicious champagne. Throughout the afternoon, we were served red and white wine along with a variety of appetizers and entrees. The tables we sat at were set up so nicely with fine china. A guy in our group even played a few songs for us on the baby grand piano that was in the corner of the room. We then got to walk around the wine cellar and see where the wine was stored. I was extremely excited when Jim Thomson approached me and remembered my name from when we met a few night before at a seminar. At the wine cellar, I had the opportunity to talk with Jim Thomson some more . He is such an interesting guy, and we had some great conversation. Before leaving, I was even able to give him my business
card as well as get his. I am hoping to stay in touch with him.
After visiting the wine cellar, we went back to the our residence, changed and went to a beerfest in one of the entertainment districts in Hong Kong called Lan Kwai Fong. It started at 1pm on Saturday and went all night. We got there around 6:30pm though. There were a ton of tents set up throughout the streets with all kinds of beers, drinks and food. We all bought yard cups that hung around our necks and we kept them all night so we could refill them at the different stands. At one bar, Sarah and I entered a limbo contest and won!! We each got watches as prizes. Around 10pm, it even started pouring and we had such a great time dancing in the rain. Towards the end of the night, we went to a neon party that our friend from the program had been promoting through his work. We were on the list so we didn't have to wait. Once we got in, we had a women draw neon glow-in-the-dark paint on our faces. We danced a little at that club and
left just in time to catch the subway back to our dorms.
We woke up Sunday morning pretty exhausted but had to rally because we had a junk boat party planned for the day. And it was an absolutely amazing day!!! The boat company we used owns a 5 star catering company so throughout the day, we had some fabulous food and drinks. We started with appetizers like chicken curry skewers, lamb balls, quesadillas and chips and guacamole. Our main meal was unreal! We had a fresh green salad, incredible steaks, chicken, grilled vegetables, potato salad and rolls. For desert we had chocolate frosted cake that was to die for. It was such a relaxing day! We laid out on the top deck of the boat and periodically jumped in the water to go swimming. The boat attendants were pretty awesome too. They were always standing around offering us drinks or anything else we wanted. We literally could not have asked for a more amazing Sunday. There were about 15 of us and we had so many laughs together; that Sunday will definitely be a day we will all remember forever.

Yep, pretty amazing
How did you stay on your feet that long at a beer fest? Reads like you were all on some type of reality show with the Kardashians (or whoever those girls are)! Creating wonderful memories! Love ya ... Dad
