Kris This blog is late. Really late. We went to Hong Kong on a 3 night stay en route to the UK back in August 2010 and I'm writing this in Vietnam in January 2011. Ah well, better late than never... Rat on the Road

It started in November 2006, when we quit our jobs, rented out our house, sold our belongings and set off in search of adventure in South East Asia. Backpacking around SE Asia followed, along with working with elephants in Pattaya, a TEFL course in Thailand, teaching in Bangkok, Madrid, Bournemouth.... "Where next?" you might ask. Sunderland doing a light show?!
hahaha, the thought of Sunderland doing a light show like Hong Kong had us laughing...can you imagine that? Hong Kong is a great place, like you say a real mix of cultures - gives you a nice taste of home! Great pics, we have been to HK loads and always forget to take the camera out with us, so we must try harder! Hope you are both ok and still enjoying Vietnam. Donna and Neil x
