Hong Kong Day 2

Hi everyone,

We decided to make the most of our last full day in Hong Kong. We took the metro down to the ferry which was interesting then got a bus to Kowloon on mainland Hong Kong.We headed for a fabric bazaar but it was not that easy to find. A man said it was no trouble to take us there so we accepted his help. Unfortunately he took us to the wrong place and we walked in a circle. Eventually he managed to get us there. Wow,wow wow.I was in heaven. At last a fabric shop to die for. It was enormous.Barely enough room to walk down the paths between rolls and rolls of fabric and with no air conditioning extremely hot. By the time I had finished Pat was nearly passing away with hunger so I careingly got him to pay and took him off for lunch.

Now,this was a joint decision,we then went to the Ladies market which actually sells all sorts of things for everyone. It was hugh and great fun.infact Pat enjoyed it so much he then led us to another all night market which also was very good.We walked and walked covering just over 11 km by the time we got back. We looked for somewhere to eat as it had been 7 hours since our last meal. This was a record for Pat who usually only lasts about 3.I would rather have gone back to tha fabric bazaar than eat but for some reason Pat didn’t share my enthusiasm.lol

We have most of tomorrow to go to the Hong Kong Park which is supposed to be an excellent place to visit. Can’t beieve our trip is nearly at an end. It’s been fantastic and so has spending so much time together..well have to do it again one day.
