Hong Kong - Part 2 - Blue Sky Days

I was fortunate to have friends with me for most of my stay in Hong Kong. It was much better to share my time for sightseeing and entertainment in the big city. Three perfect blue sky days will always be a great memory of my last weekend in Hong Kong 😊 We went to the Peak on a beautiful clear day, Hong Kong Park, caught the Big Bus to Stanley and Aberdeen and also the ferry to Lamma Island. We also had drinks at night on the 103rd floor of the ICC building at the piano bar of the Ritz Carlton and also the I bar @ I Tower.

Another highlight of my visit to Hong Kong was catching the double decker tram to the Happy Valley Races on a Wednesday night. Even if you have no interest in horse racing this is a spectacular night out with lots of entertainment. The setting of the racecourse is amazing and there is a great feeling in the big crowd of punters and tourists. Wednesday night is also free vodka night with happy hours in some of the bars at Central Hong Kong. You need a local to find the bars and we visited four with the last being a nightclub/disco on the top floor of a building in Lang Kwai Fong.
