<em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Day 135 Wednesday 1st June 2016 – Mestia to Gori It was another beautiful day and we are a little sad to leave as this is truly a beautiful corner of the world and the lady at the Guest House has really looked after us feeding us fresh yoghurt and full cream milk (I had forgotten what it tastes like after having low fat for years), hot Khachapur... Ghostly man
Haha I just love the painted-over person in the painting...and the runny paint marks :) How fabulous were Ramos and his family? I love those sorts of travel encounters, but it's also sad that those moments are so fleeting. I need to get the name of the guesthouse that not only serves a delicious breakfast but also packs up leftovers for your lunch :D

Mestia Guesthouse
Guest house Goshtela is where you should head if you ever find yourself in Mestia. The town has hundreds of guesthouses and in fact I think every home in town is one. Ramos and his family were legendary but we were freaking a bit about the situation we were in so didn't enjoy it as much as we would have liked. If we had stayed we were being offered Mum and Dads bed and I am fairly certain that they would have slept on the floor so we really needed to leave. great experience though.

Mestia to Gori Road

It was the best of times, the worst of times
A dead KIA, talking tits, Stalin the hero, a police helicopter descending on the selfies and an attack on vegans--yikes! But then there were the incredible hosts at the guesthouses, lovely Ramos, amazing cave towns and a perfect medieval fortress. Georgia is turning out to be a true adventure!

The glass half full
Thanks Tara for tagging along on the journey, Georgia has been full of lots of surprises so far, mostly unexpected - sort of like potholes in the road. We sort of have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the country at the moment but I am sure that by the time we leave it will be more love than hate.

tits
Your related to a man that is fluent in tit talking . Tits surpass all language barriers and due to my height or poor posture I have had many conversations with tits . So I toast you Ramos and your Russian tit talking .

Hate to leave the kindness of strangers.
Good having your own transportation. Sometimes we like leaving the driving to others but it is always nice having a car, a little space and not lugging everything all day or worrying about where you set it down. Glad the replacement car was quick. When that story started I was worried it could take a couple of days for a replacement. What is wrong with you not wanting to live in a cave cut out? As we travel we are so sick of the selfies. I think you remember our rant on that from Egypt. They should be flogged.

Flogging is too good for them
Do remember your memorable rant in Egypt, and give you a 10 out of 10. We have both tried to restrain our selves about bagging the selfie (unsuccessfully), but man it gets up my nose. See nothing wrong with taking a photo or two of yourself but the non stop staring into a mobile phone screen is beyond tragic. We always blame the Kardashians but unfortunately I don't think it is that simple.

Strange Brew
We wish it tasted as good as it looked, it was okay but an acquired taste.

Glorified mass Murderer!
That's what my father called him. Talk about hospitality!!!! Hello Ramos...looks a little like Daniel Craig...Bond Style! Hmmm tits!!! Lets face it Shelly you got a nice pair....would have been an awkward moment though ha! Scenery is lovely. And how's the packed left over breakfast lunch, gorgeous old girl. The visit to the holy mountain monk place sounds like a nightmare, glad you both managed to survived it.

Titterlating conversation
Not a big fan of Stalin, Hitler, Trump and any other ego maniac, but it was an interesting museum. As for tit talking, most guys know how to do the sly discreet look, whilst the other drunken few just can't seem to care or it is just too hard. I guess as long as he doesn't touch there is no harm done.
