After a lazy morning of organizing our suitcases, we were off to the Guilin airport. Our ride there took us around an hour by taxi. We did like our time in this area. It was beautiful to see the thousands of karsts peaking up everywhere over the landscape. Yangshuo was quite a touristy location, but it is located in a very pretty setting.
Today we flew with Hong Kong Air and the flight was on time. A first since arriving in China. As we neared Hong Kong the night lights of the city were very beautiful. It is a fabulous city to fly over at night, as there are lights twinkling everywhere. From the airport we took a train and then a taxi to our hotel. Once settled in our room we ventured out for a late dinner. We enjoyed some very good chinese food very close to our hotel.
