The Boatmen of Shennong

Cruise Entertainment

Today we head for Shennong Stream.
But first we go through Qutang Gorge, and The Wu Gorge.



The sights were unforgetable.
Took loads of photos, just too many to post to the site.



The trip with the boat men, was awesome - Wish it could have been longer!!!!



The farewell banquet later in the day, just rounded it all off.
One comment though, the portions could have been bigger.



And while I'm at it, the drinks could have been cheaper.
(30rmbs a bottle, when they are 5rmb in the supermarket)
Ok! We did expect to pay a bit more.
But £2 a bottle and it wasn't even imported beer!!!



It did put a bit of a downer on the celebrations,
cos' no one wanted to be riped off!!!!!



Later the staff put on another show for us - Check out the video!!!
They involved the audience this time and it was great fun to watch.....

My cheap round the world trip
G'day you two Thank you both for such an array of photos and vids. You should be very proud of youselves for getting so far without too much hassle. From all that I have seen you must be having a whale of a time, meeting all sorts of different people and cultures, and making quite a few more friends. I am glad that you have gone on this RTWT cause it will mean that Yvonne & I don't need to spend all our life savings doing it, because every night i check my emails to see what part of the world we will be visiting. It is just like being there with you. I hope you have kept a dairy so that you can write your Travel Book when you return. If you need any info when you get to OZ let me know. People & Cultures
Yes! We are certainly enjoying the experience. Doing it this way, we are able to see how the real people live - A lot more interesting than an organised tour, where they take you to all the touristy parts. We have had to interact with the locals to get by and that's been challenging and fun... Glad you're enjoying our travels. Keep the comments coming, keeps us from getting home sick and it means we are not forgotten. Plus, they are entertaining too. Take care both
