Day 13.

This morning we drove to the lake Basomtso, which has an island in the middle of it. On the island is a monastery. This was our last stop before driving all the way back to Lhasa.

We eventually arrived back in Lhasa in the pouring rain but all the souvenir shops in the old quarter were still open so we could do some last minute Tibetan shopping.

We bought some Tanka in a shop and then went next door to Lhasa's Kitchen to eat our last Tibetan meal.
