This is my favourite time of year.......CHRISTMAS!!!!!! But spending it in China, will we still have the same fun? Oh yes!!!! Each year in England we have a few of Matthew friends over to have some Christmas fun, making decorations, play games and this year is no different!! On Saturday we had a few friends over and we had soooo much fun. We made tree decorations, Christmas wreaths for our doors, candle decorations for the mummies, making reindeer food, lunch in the middle and making crackers, santa piñata and hunt the reindeer outside!!!! The fun never stops!!!! The kids had lots of fun and were on the go none stop the whole time (the party was 11am - 3pm!!) We all had lots of fun for Halloween this year!! Matthew dressed up at school and had fun trick or treating there. William had a Halloween party at nursery.....He was not impressed that his teacher painted his eyes blue and mummy turning him into a ghost!! Sunday was Teda's colourful 5k fun run. It's for all the local businesses, Chinese and international to get together within the community, families included. We have never been to any thing like this before, Andy and Matthew took part and William and I stayed on the side line to Cheer ADM on!! It was a great day which started very early!!! We had to be there by 6.45am!! The run started around 8.45am and there were thousands of people taking part! When the race got started there were people on the sides throwing powder paint........only with the wind blowing not all the throwers were standing in the right place and covered their selves but they kept on going and still couldn't work out why!!! Matthew took part in a great sponsored walk at the end of September. He ran 19 laps around the school running track and raised 450RMB!!!! Well done to all the children who took part and thank you to all those that sponsored Matthew!!! It was a great afternoon and I enjoyed helping to count the children's laps with the class TA and dancing to the great music!!... read more
