Christmas Shopping Marathon

My friends were determined to get their Christmas shopping done today and then immediately pack it all up and ship it off, which by the way, isn't cheap. They brought a bunch of stuff with them and then we hit the Small Commodities Market, where they proceeded to buy a bunch more stuff to ship back home. We had to leave early so we could fit all the shopping in before the post office closed.

Tibetan Store
There is lots of stuff imported from Tibet in this little store on the first or second floor in the Small Commodities Market.

Prayer Beads?
I think these are Tibetan prayer beads.

Han's Deli
Difficult to find, but they offer reasonably priced MSG free fare.

DICO's Dounut
Not recommend for those without cast iron stomachs.

Onion Head Guy
What was he doing downtown? What was the purpose of this unexpected visit? Why is he yellow?

The Sad State of Cats in China
It appears as if Asians favor dogs over cats. I always see these sad little kitties all over the place. It breaks my heart.
